Let me be confident. Let me be fragile. Let me be feminine. Let me be masculine. Let me speak. Let me listen. Let me put on make-up. Let me take it off. Let me show my skin. Let me hide it. Let me be educated. Let me educate others. Let me be a doctor. Let me be a model. Let me share my body. Let me keep it to myself. Let me have children. Let me not. Let me get married. Let me remain single. Let me vote. Let me choose. Let me be me.
Today, 100 years ago, women over the age of 30 were given the right to vote in the UK. It took another 10 years before all women received the same voting rights as men.
Season’s Greetings from the #hospital #wards! Thinking of all those who are in poor #health, without #family and #friends, and without a roof over their heads. Thinking of my #doctor, #nursing, and #clinical colleagues who are working today.
Wishing you all a day filled with #love and #happiness!
Busy times! Working in the hospital, doing medical research, and travelling around the UK for work. Now for a bit less travelling and looking forward to being with family soon! #Liverpool Miss England ContestMiss World...
